Just a few steps from the door of our beautiful Seminyak Villas, lies Villa Kubu Seminyak’s onsite Oasis Restaurant. Here Head Chef Artana and his team create a stunning menu of international dishes using only the best organic, local and seasonal produce. A range of dishes are cooked fresh daily; from Indonesian specialities to Western comfort food like steaks and burgers. Specialty vegetarian and vegan menu is available on request. Come and enjoy a meal in the picturesque surrounds of the restaurant or a cocktail at the bar before your night out.
Our fully serviced in-villa BBQ is a dining experience not to be missed; professional chefs prepare best quality meat and seafood to order and BBQ it poolside for you and your family. Our friendly waitstaff serve these delicacies with a range of delicious sides, salads & vegetables.
We also have a full room service menu available for dining in the privacy of your own luxury villa. Your private concierge is always available to assist with room service requests.

Special Menus and exceptional ingredients
Children will love our specially created Kubu kids menu with healthy fun options such as Sponge Bob chicken minestrone soup, Kung Fu Panda Chinese fried rice with chicken, Ninja Prawns and other kids dessert favourites such as fruity pebbles, healthy tropical fruits and a yogurt parfait topped with whipped cream.
Those with specific dietary requirements need not worry, our food is prepared and cooked on site ensuring our chef can adapt all of our dishes to meet our guests needs whether its gluten free bread or pasta, vegan chocolate avocado cake or sugar free juices.
We also offer a mouth watering Indian menu (by request with one day’s notice) that has been created exclusively for Kubu by our chef. Mostly inspired by the Northern vegetarian influences such as spicy Indian asparagus seasoned with black mustard seed and Indian chili powder, spicy feta cheese cooked in garlic and chili and Yellow Mung Bean Gujarati and a traditional Thali plate. There is also a tandoori option with fish, chicken or prawn.
Villa Kubu sources only the best quality foods, authentic flavours and organic fresh ingredients; our Indonesian chef along with Kubu’s owner personally hand picks all the local ingredients used on the estate. These include Bush Berry Honey naturally grown and harvested in the mountains of Sumatra. It is simply gathered from hive to pot and served fresh in our restaurant. We are also sponsoring four beehives in Singaraja and will soon be supplying our own homegrown honey.
Our spices are carefully chosen from Spice Corner in Seminyak, which grows its spices locally or sources them direct from the organic farms in Mount Batur where the rich soil is full of nutrients. Our fruit and vegetables are always sourced locally and are chosen depending on the season such as rich avocados, beautifully ripened mangos and juicy tasty pineapple. Kubu avoids palm oil and uses olive oil imported directly from Spain. Most of our recipes are cooked in coconut oil, widely known to be a super food with tons of health benefits or in palm sugar, which is rich in essential vitamins and minerals. Our salt is harvested on the coast of unspoilt Candidasa on the East of the island.
