Villa Kubu private villas in Seminyak, offers one of the best breakfasts in Bali. Generous to a fault, delicious and all lovingly hand made that morning and served with wonderful Balinese style by your personal butler. You can enjoy breakfast in your private villa, at your outdoor private dining area, on a deck next to your sun-kissed swimming pool in the shade of a mature Pandan tree, in the luxury of your King Size bed with views of your pool and lush tropical gardens, on the deck of the hotel’s Oasis Restaurant or in its cool air-conditioned interior. So much choice of where to eat and that is before you receive the menu!

There’s no wonder it is called Breakfast of Kings on the Island of the Gods. Artana, our highly professional and dedicated Balinese chef has created a mouthwatering menu that suits every palate. At Kubu, we understand our guests have different tastes and requirements and thus cater for all types whether you are gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, dairy free or simply just very hungry.

If you choose to have your á la carte, á la pool, a table and chairs will be laid up by the pool in the shade. A selection of teas and coffees is available. The adventurous can try Balinese coffee, very strong in flavor and sourced from Munduk up in the mountains above Bedugal or opt for the popular Illy coffee. Teas come in a variety of blends to suit everyone, freshly made ginger tea, chamomile, or traditional English breakfast are just a few you can select.

Bali is famous for its tropical fruit. Guests are treated to a fruit basket on arrival in their room, which could include dragon fruit or even snake fruit. We tend to steer clear of the potent Durian. Juices in the morning come freshly squeezed from local seasonal fruits such as mango, banana, pineapple, tangerine, papaya & apple or a blend of some or all. Coconut water, known as kalapa muda is one of the most refreshing rehydrating drinks and much is written on its nutritional benefits. A beautifully prepared organic fruit salad is offered drizzled with strawberry blossom honey and locally made granola. And a delicious breadbasket of freshly made patisserie includes warmed croissant, pan au chocolate, sour dough and a selection of seasonal conserves & whipped butter.

And then we have the mouth-watering á la carte menu with an abundance of choice; fluffy waffles served with mixed berries and smooth vanilla crème Chantilly, Eggs benedict with dry cured Canadian bacon and hand whipped parsley hollandaise and free range chicken eggs, Scrambled eggs with gravalax cured Tasmanian salmon & organic watercress on popular sourdough, Crepes, a choice of sweet jackfruit, banana, mango (seasonal), strawberry or pineapple with cinnamon and blossom honey for the kids or ‘adult’ kids. Our Breakfast of kings is for those with a big appetite or just recovering from a big night. Vine tomatoes with basil, feta, and cracked black pepper on sourdough is one of our healthy choices. And we offer Indonesian favourite nasi gorging of fried rice, chicken and chicken sate.

All breakfasts are included in the room rate and consist of tea or coffee, coconut water or fresh juice, fruit salad, breadbasket and one choice per person from the a la carte menu.
